We are looking to expand the team by bringing on board an additional Solution Expert to work multi-nationally within a well-known global brand.
The Solution Expert will work with, and be the expert in, multiple compliance solutions used across multiple markets in VFS. The role holder will work to fully understand the functionality and capabilities of the systems they support, applying this expertise in working closely with stakeholders to ensure business results are achieved by getting the most from these systems.
The ideal candidate will be an expert in AML / Compliance for financial services companies, able to understand business needs and to translate these into effective solutions. A good understanding of Risk (ex: decision engines, risk scoring) and Origination (ex: quoting, credit approval) solutions would also be a key factor for success due to the frequent interaction with these areas. One of the key deliverables in this role will be the definition, building and implementation of a new AML module, followed by the subsequent maintenance and support of the tool going forward.
Additionally, the role holder will be a strong communicator at all levels of the organization, able to communicate complex information in a user-friendly way and able to work and communicate cross-culturally.
The location is flexible within Europe.
Key responsibilities
Work to understand full solution capability and functionality, becoming a true expert
Work closely with business stakeholders, across multiple departments and countries
Analyze business requirements to understand and propose solutions in line with system capabilities
Support the solution development process by providing business and technical best practices and identifying functionalities necessary to cover business needs
Support release management, ensuring proper communication and full testing of changes
Validate the functional and technical specifications and test cases
Recommend metrics to measure the performance of the solutions in run-time
Identify opportunities for solution improvement
Provide business expertise and knowledge in simple or complex process flows and mapping with applications, group of applications, or applications sub-portfolios
Support project team with the implementation of solutions
Education and Professional experience
University degree or specialized diploma in Economics / Computer Science
5+ years experience with AML / Compliance related systems for finance lease companies in Europe
5+ years experience with IT projects related to AML / Compliance for finance lease companies
Focused on compliance related concepts for leasing companies (ex: AML, UBO, etc.)
Ideally will have experience working with multiple solutions in across multiple countries
Knowledge of European AML Regulation and directives is a plus
Experience working with external data providers (ex: sanction lists, credit bureaus, etc.) is a plus

Advanced level of English (oral/written). An additional European language(s) is desirable
Ability to travel internationally
Self-driven and able to work remotely

A good understanding of the VFS business and processes
Experience in, or understanding of, the asset finance industry
Experience of project management in the Financial Services industry
Experience of working multi-nationally across the globe
