We are seeking a Solution Expert who is excited by opportunities in the intersection of business and information technology to join our Commercial API delivery in Volvo CE's Digital & IT APIs and Integration Frameworks team. As a team we are responsible for delivering integration solutions supporting Volvo CE customers, dealers, and internal consumers. We are also responsible for developing and delivering a portfolio of commercial APIs, a key product in our services offering of the future.
Opportunity Description:
Serve as subject matter expert for a portfolio of commercial APIs, including their content and the technical platform they are delivered through.
Help customers and partners globally to use our APIs, as a specialist in how they can be used to support our customers' business.
Assist global and regional product managers to provide pre-and post-sales support of commercial APIs.
Drive and contribute to all phases of the product life cycle; from design, development and testing to onboarding and version management.
Independently work to solve complex product issues with cross functional stakeholders, incl. product owners, product managers, legal, finance, IT, and engineering.
Create and maintain technical documentation.
Assist our run-time support team in third line issue resolution.
Position reports to the Head of APIs and Integration Frameworks within Volvo CE Digital & IT.
Mindset and Competence:
You have an IT background, and a willingness to learn our business and that of our customers.
You have deep knowledge of API management and preferably also experience working with the platforms we are using; IBM API Connect and Azure API Management.
You have experience working with API development.
You are willing to wear many hats and have a passion for supporting our customers in their digitalization journey.
You have problem solving abilities and good communication skills.
You have teamwork spirit but also ability to organize and drive work independently.
You are triggered by working cross-functionally in projects that stretch over time, across businesses and geographies.
