PRD, Architecture & Common solutions, EPTS (Embedded software Production Tools &System)
EPTS - Plan & Schedule, plan, prepare and delivers packages of the embedded software for further distribution to the vehicles for production and aftermarket. We manage pre-studies, development and test. We contribute with solution expertise to conceptual business investigations and strategy work. We manage maintenance and evolution and have full life-cycle responsibility.
EPTS-plan & Schedule ensure effective "end-to-end" solution delivery & support and consolidate all TD/BA requirements.
We are now looking for a Solution expert/ Business Analyst expert to be a part of the EPTS central systems area
Main application and responsibility area is GeSP (Global embedded Software for Production). GeSP is a Volvo Group global system. Used at all Truck divisions and business areas for specifying and distributing individually configured embedded software to concerned production sites
In this role you will be reporting to the Delivery leader and cooperate closely with Solution Leader.
You will be a key part of an experienced team of professionals who deliver innovative IT solutions. We give you the opportunity to work closely with our customers, Volvo group representatives from all Truck Divisions and Business Areas, and develop IT solutions that solve concrete challenges and business problems.
Role mission & context
In this role you will be responsible for providing the expertize needed in certain solution areas, acting as a subject matter expert. You will actively work with early phases, strategies for your area and support of the teams. In the daily work also gather business and IT requirements perform analysis and operationally manage the solution in collaboration with the solution leader and other experts in the area.
Main interface will be with business process developer, process & solution key users and the solution leader. The mission is to get a deep solution understanding, combined with deep process knowledge and solution dependencies and interfaces
Examples of responsibilities are:
• Participate in various key user networks and work groups
• Provide process and functional application support (business solution support) within the solution area
• Support continuity management for the solutions
• Be a Subject Matter Expert
• Support the solution leader to secure and maintain complete solution documentation including user manual and training material and its execution for the solution
• Execute trainings together with process and solution key user and business process developer
• Perform quality assurance activities of end user support, for example root cause analysis, end-to-end support quality etc.
• Support the review of and analyse the business process and business requirements and its impact on the overall solution

• Understanding of the development processes and solution within the expertize area
• Communication & presentation skills required

• Complete proficiency in English is a requirement
