As a Solution Expert, you will work with, and be the expert in, multiple finance solutions used across multiple markets in VFS. You will work to fully understand the functionality and capabilities of the systems they support, applying this expertise in working closely with stakeholders to ensure business results are achieved by getting the most from these systems.
The Solution Expert will be an experienced analyst dedicated to designing and implementing finance & operational functionalities for financial services companies using Business Central and/or Navision as a platform. A good understanding of Operations (contract lifecycle), Account Receivables & Payables (raising & collecting invoices) and Finance (accounting impact, balance sheet, reconciliation) processes will be a key factor for success due to the frequent interaction with these areas. One of the key deliverables in this role will be the definition, building and implementation of finance related capabilities in Business Central and Navision, followed by the subsequent maintenance and support of the tool going forward.
Additionally, the Solution Expert will be a strong communicator at all levels of the organization, able to communicate complex information in a user-friendly way and able to work and communicate cross-culturally.
You will report to the Finance Platform Manager, VFS Digital & IT - HQ. The following locations are possible: Sweden (Gothenburg) & Poland (Warsaw or Wroclaw).

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Works to understand full solution capability and functionality, becoming a true expert
Interacts closely with business stakeholders, across multiple departments and countries
Analyzes business requirements to understand and propose solutions in line with system capabilities
Supports the solution development process by providing business and technical best practices and identifying functionalities necessary to cover business needs
Supports release management, ensuring proper communication and full testing of changes
Validates the functional and technical specifications and test cases
Recommends metrics to measure the performance of the solutions in run-time
Identifies opportunities for solution improvement
Provides business expertise and knowledge in business capabilities, process flows and mapping with applications, group of applications, or applications sub-portfolios
Supports project team with the implementation of solutions

EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree or specialized diploma in Finance and/or Computer Science preferred
5+ years experience designing solutions using Business Central and/or Navision
5+ years experience working as analyst in IT projects for financial services companies
Very good business analysis & documentation skills
Ideally will have experience working with multiple solutions across multiple countries
Experience with decomposing complex IT systems into re-usable components is a plus
Good knowledge of finance is a plus
Good knowledge of multi-currency, multi-book, regulated finance markets is a plus

Advanced level of English (oral/written).
Additional European language(s) is desirable
Ability to travel internationally

A good understanding of the VFS business and processes
Experience in, or understanding of, the asset finance industry
Can provide insight for key processes in the life of a leasing contract (ex: invoicing installments)
Can provide insight for the accounting rules on the major business events for a leasing contract (IFRS)
Project management experience in the Financial Services industry
Experience of working multi-nationally across the globe
