hela Sverige Are you up for a new challenge and interested in joining a high-performing, global and diverse team of skilled professionals? Here is your chance! We are looking for a Solution Engineer to join the Customs 4 Volvo (C4V) Customs team!
JOB DESCRIPTION
You will be supporting projects, product teams and end-users in the continued development, roll-out and daily operations of C4V. C4V is the appointed application, in the Customs area. Your tasks will range from Business Analyst tasks to Application support, giving you a unique possibility to know the application, it's set-up and the stakeholders all over the globe. You will work in close co-operation with our COTS supplier.
As our products are always growing and evolving, we also encourage our employees to grow and develop both technical end personal skills. The coming years we see big shifts in strategy - technical as well as on the business side - manifested in a really interesting roadmap for the Customs area and we will expect and encourage you to grow within your role as well, to meet new expectations and needs.
Key responsibilities:
Be involved in backlog preparation by confirming objective and requirements within agile teams
Identify and propose solutions and features to fit the product. Provide detailed functional and non-functional requirements and specifications for proposed solutions, including time and scope involved.
Co-operate with external vendor
Solve assigned issues together with the business
Document and monitor requirements needed to institute proposed updates requirements such as legal, customer experience or other
Test and validate implemented solutions
Handle support cases from internal and external users.
Work closely with different Product teams to ensure products and solutions are available and working properly
Pro-active and preventive maintenance activities

Experience as a Solution Engineer in an agile team
Experience of Agile Practices
Passionate about the user - understanding business opportunities and user needs
Great communication skills
Openminded and honest - a team player
T-shaped person, interested in broadening her/his ability to support the solution
Experience of vendor management, handling COTS suppliers
BSc or MSc degree in mechatronics/electrical engineering or equivalent
