Our Exciting Opportunity

The Solutions Development at Sweden Gothenburg consists of approx. 80 employees in four sections and is responsible for the implementation and validation of the Ericsson 5G Core Solutions. This position is in the Core I&V section who takes care of end-to-end feature integration and verification together with teams in China and Croatia, in close collaboration with Ericsson IMS network, Ericsson Radio network, and multiple mobile terminal vendors.
We work in kanban teams. Teams are diverse and inclusive, active in knowledge sharing, mentorship, and improvement. We are an organization passionate to be bridge between R&D and customer units, and to share know-how to help end customers. Do you want to join us?
You will
Study requirements
Perform test analysis to define scope and test environment
Integrate and verify to validate the features and solutions
The job fits flawlessly to build an outstanding broad competence in variant core products and gain knowledge of complete mobile network.
To be successful in the role you must have
Easy to learn, passion for quality insurance and new technology in telecom
Demonstrated ability of software verification in Linux/UNIX environments
Experience with TCP/IP networking
Shell-scripting competence, e.g. BASH or other languages for test automation
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in the Computer, Electrical or Telecommunication Science or similar relevant areas
Proficiency in English, written and spoken
It is phenomenal if you have these additional skills and experiences too
Competence or hands-on experience in Ericsson Core products (AMF, UPF, SMF, MME, EPG etc.)
Knowledge in Virtualization and Cloud technologies (OpenStack, Docker/Container, Kubernetes)
