What you will be doing
When joining SEB C/S you will be a part of a highly professional and self-sustainable Dev/Sec/Ops team that is maintaining SEB:s low level API:s towards Mainframe for consumption by the distributed world. The SEB C/S platform is business critical for SEB and handles billions of transactions yearly. The API:s comes in different flavors and have been developed and refined since 1994 where the latest version is RESTish and running on docker. We are, as everyone else, undergoing a modernization focusing on containers (docker) and our own cloud journey (GCP).Day to day life in this fantastic team:You will take responsibility of the whole chain in development - from analysis, design and architecture to 24/7 maintenance and improvements. In addition to this you will also do a lot of POC:s or assignment based work that could include trying new patterns that we want to learn more about or think SEB will benefit from. The range of exploration is all from containers on MF to public GCP - there is infinite possibilities for the curious and creative developer as long we determine the SEB benefit of things. We have come pretty far in our agile journey on tribe level so be ready for that way of working. You will go on-call in this position but not until you are ready for that task.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for a positive, creative team-player that take ownership of what we build. Self-going and ambitious with a clear aim to get things done all the way. You come with new ideas and realizes them in a MVP if agreed upon. Knowledge about SEB C/S as a platform is meritorious but not necessary.
