What you'll do
The task is to build control system solutions with focus on dependencies between product modules and/or product systems. Your task is to participate in such an arena that depending on system spans across different parts of R&D.
Typical system with many dependencies is Vehicle Motion control, Thermal and Climate control, Electric Power control, Autonomous Vehicle control and Energy Management. Your task is to contribute to technical descriptions together with ART's and teams in all involved areas across Solutions. The purpose with these descriptions is to enable common understanding of technical solutions across systems. It also creates a base for common review and decision of control solutions and by extension becomes base for requirement and SW development.
You and your skills
We believe that you have a M.Sc. or higher degree in Mechatronics, Software, Electrical, or Computer Engineering and a experience from designing control systems within or across nodes.
Many of our functions and features in the vehicle are safety or security critical which means that experience from development of such related technical solutions is a vital for this position. You probably already have come across challenges that arises in tradeoffs between e.g., safety mechanisms and availability/robustness.
You have a curious and learning mindset, and driven by customer focus, you can find your way forward without having all facts at hand.
You are flexible with master communication and documentation skills.
With your positive attitude you are constructive in working both with individuals and in a team.
