Group Treasury IT Solutions is responsible for the development and maintenance of the IT solutions for Group Treasury & Asset and Liability Management at Nordea.
As a Solution Architect specialising in Business Intelligence and Integration you will be filling a key knowledge gap in the team that is becoming increasingly strategically important. You have experience working across the IT development lifecycle over multiple platforms and operating systems, including both batch and real-time systems. You keep yourself updated about the latest trends within the world of architecture and you proactively suggest ways to improve our ways of working.
Working within the Treasury IT team you will be required to adopt both a holistic "helicopter view" of a very large and complex data landscape, as well as an ability to use your technical expertise to drill into details where necessary.
A rapidly changing regulatory and business environment in the banking industry is driving deep and significant changes in IT, which means that you will be working in a highly dynamic, stimulating and challenging environment.

The position is permanent and based in Stockholm.
Experience and background
In order to be successful you need have a high degree of relevant business understanding and particularly in analysis of "real world" business problems. Experience from Capital Markets or Treasury IT is required
You will also be expected to have a good working knowledge of subject areas like enterprise data warehousing, "traditional" BI tools, metadata and master data management and to know how and where they fit into the overall analytics architecture.
We expect that you have excellent documentation skills. The work includes many interactions internally and externally, why good communication skills and well spoken and written English are necessary.
Your educational background is a relevant Bachelors/Master's in IT, Engineering, Mathematics or Economics/Finance.
Personal qualifications
You have good cognitive and analytical skills, and can work with complex issues on an abstract level. You are also comfortable with mathematical and basic statistical concepts. You are able to adopt a long-term perspective and combine that with insightful action and the ability to 'make things happen'. You are an excellent communicator, able to both facilitate dialogue and drive decisions when necessary.
