About Group IT
Group IT is located in Sweden, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. We are 1400 employees responsible for running the bank, developing and maintening business strategic and central systems in Swedbank.
All development is managed in projects and we deliver approximately 600 projects and pre-studies during a business year.
Through understanding and acting from the needs of our internal customers, we offer the group competitive IT-solutions which support new products and high level services to our clients.

We develop and maintain the solutions supporting this business with its high and complex demands. Our team of about 60 employees located in Sweden (Stockholm) is looking to welcome a Solution Architect to support the business areas of Trading, Investment and Merchant banking.
Assignment specification
Grab a chance to deepen your knowledge about many aspects of banking. Our team of Solution Architects is responsible for developing IT support for the most complicated products used by the bank and its clients. LC&I is working in fast moving market segments, with a large number of projects covering all banking areas. From a technical perspective we have a heterogeneous environment using several platforms and programming languages, e.g. z/OS, Linux, Windows, IBM Integration Bus, WebSphere Application Server.
As a Solution Architect, you will use your competence to create high-level IT solutions concerning development and integration of IT systems. When you are not brainstorming over business processes, user needs and Swedbank internal guidelines and transforming them into software solutions, you will be advising Project Managers and other architects in both business and development matters.
To fulfil the role as LC&I Solution Architect you should have:
Higher education and several years of IT development experience Experience in models, methods and tools within analysis and design Knowledge of the financial markets and IT systems related to this business Good analytical skills and accuracy Ability to work creatively and think "outside the box" Good communication skills in English and Swedish Experience from working with application architecture and system integration
