The BSS Solution Architect designs, plans and delivers technical solutions that enhances the customer's competitive position in the area of BSS, Charging, Billing and Mediation.
Working as a BSS Solution Architect you are expected to work, cooperate and communicate in close cooperation with the business stakeholders in an international environment, both with colleagues internally as well as customers and suppliers to Ericsson primarily in region Northern Europe Central Asia but also globally.
The Solution Architect supports during pre-sales and participates in the delivery of projects.
The Solution Architect typically interacts with customer staff, 3rd Party suppliers, Ericsson staff in the country and in other parts of the organization.
The Solution Architect can also work as Enterprise Architect. This means working with stakeholders, both leadership and subject matter experts, to build a holistic view of the organization's strategy, processes, information, and information technology assets. The role of the Enterprise Architect is to take this knowledge and ensure that the business and IT are in alignment.
Qualifications

Business Skills
• Fluent in English, written and oral

• Drive add on sales and business opportunities during the entire process in order to contribute to increased sales volumes.
Technical skills
• Knowledge of BSS (CRM, Charging, Billing, Mediation) market/environment and BSS transformation drivers
• Commercial Charging & Billing systems (e.g. BSCS, CBOSS, Amdocs), Mediation (e.g. Comptel, Ericsson), EAI/BPM/ESB (e.g. Tibco, Oracle)
• Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture.
Others
• Ability to travel domestic and abroad frequently, for shorter and longer periods
Formal Education
• Academic degree - Master's degree in IT, Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent
