Your new challenges and areas of responsibility
The Solution Architect for Europe IT will play a crucial role in leading the local part of the system landscape, including documenting the current landscape and drive future architecture in collaboration with local integration lead and global architecture leads.
The role will interact with local business analysts and business developers to increase solution design capabilities. The Solution Architect will also interact closely with developers and local vendors to facilitate system portfolio development and enhancements. We think you are outgoing, in terms of connecting with new people, both inside and outside of Europe.
A key part of the position is to help establish a strong governance and design foundation to reduce overlapping systems in the portfolio, gathering information to increase speed in processes, and clarify the technical responsibilities regarding vendors. Also, for this position, you will contribute to and challenge the development of best practice in IT architecture.
Are you the one we're looking for?
We believe that the right candidate for the role possesses a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. To succeed in the role, we consider it as important that you can work independently and manage multiple task assignments within a structured implementation methodology.
Essential skills for the position include the ability to analyze complex situations, evaluate technologies, and interpret business needs to develop strategies aligning IT with overarching business objectives. A comprehensive understanding of technologies, architectural patterns, and application development best practices is crucial, along with proficiency in architecture and integration capabilities. Familiarity with the industry's best practices that guides technology choices and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Effective communication skills, verbal and written in both English and a Nordic language, are essential for conveying ideas, drafting reports, and collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders.
For this position it is an option to be located in ManpowerGroup AB headquarter in Stockholm.
