Job Description
We are currently looking for talented professionals to join our Advanced Automation Industrial Digitalization group, which brings together AFRY's expertise in industry-focused IT solutions to help clients leverage the advantages of digitalization and Industry 4.0. This ranges from formulation of vision and strategies to organizational change and implementation of technological solutions that help companies derive maximum benefit from digital transformation.
More specifically, we are looking for a Solution Architect to join our team for agile implementations of MES solutions that support and automate business management of production, logistics, maintenance, and quality management in manufacturing industries. Our customers are large international manufacturing companies with exciting production processes and cutting-edge technologies where digitalization is critical for continued competitiveness. Our assignments are primarily carried out in-house at our own premises, but occasionally we also carry out assignments at customer sites and therefore see travel as a natural part of the work.

Qualifications

Your main qualifications are:
A solid background in software development
A genuine interest in manufacturing, production, and logistics processes
Strong analytical skills
Experience in MES/MOM
At least 5 years of experience in the Manufacturing and Industrial Automation domain. Automotive is an advantage
At least 5 years of experience across some or all of the following areas: MES/MOM, WMS, PLM, PLC, SCADA, ERP, IIoT, and/or Manufacturing Systems Integration
Excellent command of written and spoken English. Swedish is an advantage
Even better if you also have:
Experience in advanced systems architecture for the manufacturing industry.
Knowledge of IT architecture for multi-site and enterprise-wide IT
Experience with Delmia Apriso Solution Design (production, quality, and warehouse module)
Understanding of Industry 4.0
Relevant academic training in data/IT
Competence in C#, ASP.NET, REST, T-SQL and/or Entity Framework
