Job description:
The assignment is to help company with solution architecture within specific project/s and also to support a company maturity journey for the solution architecture community.
The main expected output from the assignment is:
• Owner for a Solution Architecture within a specific project end-to-end needed operations.
• Responsible for project solution architecture and presentation towards Design Authority Board and to communicate to multiple stakeholders.
• Develop project solutions and develop foundation for architecture review and approval.
• Ensure that the technology solution architecture within project scope is clearly defined and documented.
• Ensures that the technology solution architecture created remains aligned with company IT strategies, principles, standards and policies.
• Working accordingly to company architecture methodology, including method adoption, Project Start Architecture and structured artefact approach.
• Support the creation of solution/application improvement plans, as well as activities to improve architecture maturity.
Additional expectations:
• Structuring and documentation of Architectural Decisions, Architecture Overview, System Context, Application Function Model, Business Technology Event Map, Location Model & Zone Model, Operational Model.
• Service level modeling and non-functional requirement elaboration to be able to meet the required service levels.
• Reference Architecture Fit Gap Analysis.
• Viability Assessment to provides a measure of how likely it is that the system will satisfy critical requirements.
• Support the application/solution as-is health check process and collection of findings.
Required competence:
• Good understanding how to drive solution architecture in large project.
• Preferable banking / finance industry experience.
• Preferable experience; integration platforms and/or information lifecycle and data management platforms and/or core banking platforms.
• Worked as Solution Architecture for multiple customers/projects.
• Experienced as multi stakeholder facilitating.
• Establish and execute business value.
• Deep understanding and experience from system development.
• How to support solution development in an agile way.
Personal skills:
• TOGAF9 oriented architecture approach (or equivalent).
• Deep architecture modelling skills needed.
• Pragmatic and problem solving.
• Good communication skills.
• Good documentation skills.
• Work both individually and collaborative.
• Have a sensitive ear.
• Structured and accurate.
• Fluent in English.
Start: 2014-11-01 (ASAP).
Duration: 15 months with possibility for further extension.
Location: Lund
Required languages: Swedish & English
