Just to give you a quick insight, our tech department has over 100 developers structured into 15 domain teams. The Solution Architect work closely with product experts, designers, and other roles as needed, so that each team can assume full responsibility for their specific products. The team gets the freedom to make their own decisions regarding product, technology, and process. To you as a Solution Architect this offers the time required to focus on your craft, and lots of room to shape what we ship.
A fast delivery cycle with frequent releases provides fast feedback and creates an environment for development and learning. About the role
We are looking for Solution Architect to join our Development Team .
A solution architect is responsible for the design and implementation of an end-to-end solution and its capabilities. As a Solution Architect you will work across all teams to ensure coherence and consistency of selected tools and frameworks. You guide the teams to define and develop the interfaces and services according to the selected enterprise architecture.
Solution architect tasks include e.g.:
* Analysis of current technologies used within the company and ways to improve them
* Finding and documenting solutions to business requirements
* Defining the shape and structure of the applications, and how they interact with each other
* Considering how solutions will scale and how they will be maintained
* Managing the risk in third-party dependencies
* Managing the complexity of the solution
As a solution architect you have also have the comprehensive development and architecture experience to fulfill these tasks.
A Solution Architect at Arvato works with our clients and customers, product teams, and management to identify business requirements, defining the best service architecture to implement requirements, to monitor and verify that the implementation matches the expectations.
Therefore, we think you have a solid combination of both people and process skills, that i.e. includes:

* Able to understand and explain complex problems to all stakeholders in simple terms

Is this you?
An architect at Arvato guide and coordinate the development teams to focus on and achieve business goals. We therefore think you have an extensive experience in developing IT and cloud infrastructure with a keen interest in and experience from software analysis, architecture, development, testing, security, and operations.
We also believe you have a degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering are fluent in English.
