IT is a crucial part of this transformation as Scania's success is depending on flexible and efficient IT solutions that support current and future business requirements.What to expect
We are looking for a Solution Architect who is passionate about seeing the big picture of a global system landscape and how it all fits together interactions, dependencies and flows between systems. You will influence that landscape, both with changes to existing systems and especially with new business demands needing new solutions. It's important to understand the strategy needs, requirements, goals, and processes, with a focus on solution structures and IT tools / IT systems.
Who are you
To succeed, collaboration and communication are key. You would cooperate closely with our stakeholders, our developers, and our users,
but also with a wider architect community.
You are expected to be able to communicate on virtually all levels of the company. Furthermore, understanding Scania's overall IT strategy
and translating that to a Logistic strategy with a holistic long-term perspective would be key.
You have a strong and wide background in architectural work within global organizations, with an agile mindset and hands-on approach
to develop and drive architectural work.
You also have a true agile mindset and seek to develop both yourself and our organization. You are humble, sociable, and easy to work with.
You have probably worked as a Solution Architect some years' time and therefore are acquainted with the following competencies:
• University or equivalent qualification within IT development, or relevant professional experience
• Broad technical skills within the field of IT, preferably with a background in systems development
• Knowledge of modern solution architecture, programming languages and development methods
• A sound understanding of designing secure solutions in an agile environment to bring efficiency and productivity improvements to users.
• Knowledge of Logistic domain
• Command of written and spoken Swedish and English
• We expect you to be curious, have great problem-solving skills, and have a genuine interest in IT.
What you will do
• Work with solutions that satisfy the solution needs within Scania Logistics globally.
• Monitor and evaluate Scania for changes and new initiatives affecting the solution layer.
• Provide information and consult, regarding questions related to the solution layer area.
• Use modeling frameworks and tools to facilitate communication of solutions.
• Knowledge of developing solutions using cloud services such as AWS, Azure, etc. is an advantage.
• Be a good team player with the ability to make things happen and challenge the way we work today.
