What's in it for you?
We are looking for a Solution Architect for Service Operations - Digital at Volvo Cars. Service Operations is a part of the Product Area - Ordering and Service Operations which is responsible for developing digital tools and solutions supporting our Retailers and Service Providers as well as Internal Stakeholders.
At Service Operations we develop and operate systems that support service technicians globally to provide highly specialized maintenance and repair of Volvo cars.
As a Solutions Architect you will take lead in developing and implementing our overall solution architecture. You will be working closely with Product Management as well as tech savvy developers and engineers, making sure we build much needed features and at the same time keep our tech-stack up to date.

What you'll do
As a Solution Architect you will be responsible for defining and communicating a shared technical and architectural vision. You will be participating in planning, definition, and high-level design of the solutions as well as defining subsystems and their interfaces, keeping in mind the economic framework when analyzing the impact of design decisions.
You will work with stakeholders, product management and suppliers to establish high-level solution intent, establish critical NFRs for the solution and work with portfolio stakeholders to develop, analyze and realize the implementation of enabler epics
You are responsible for managing the Architectural Runway.
You will support the agile teams in defining, exploring and implementing enablers, provide oversight and foster Built-In Quality and Team and Technical Agility
You and your skills & experiences
* Bachelor or equivalent in a relevant field.
* Extensive experience from defining architectures in multiple different platforms
* Experience from complex global environments, preferably in Automotive and/or after-market, e-commerce or similar
* Experience from managing stakeholders
* Team player with an open, positive and service-oriented mindset
* Experience from working in an agile set-up
* Structured way of working and delivering on time
* Customer-centric mindset
* Driven, with the ability to take own initiatives and see them through
* Ability to coach, guide and lead others
* Good relationship building skills and skilled in building networks
* Being visionary and motivational with ability to inspire and influence others
