At Sandvik Group IT, we're now looking for an Identity and Access Management Solution Architect to join our Identity Products team - a key role in shaping the future of Identity and Access Management (IAM). We're on a digital transformation journey and we look forward to achieving great success in this exciting new chapter, and we want you to join us!
Shortly about us
You'll be part of our Identity Fabric product area, which delivers comprehensive identity management solutions through three key product teams: Identity Products, Identity Operations, and Directory Services. These teams work together to provide the tools necessary for managing and securing digital identities across the Sandvik Group. We're at the heart of ensuring secure access and protected identities, developing a cutting-edge digital infrastructure rooted in trust and expertise.
About your job
In this position, you lead and coordinate the technology development of our IAM products, ensuring that they align with organizational goals and meet the highest security standards. You actively research emerging technologies and propose changes to our existing solution architecture to keep us at the forefront of innovation.
You collaborate with IT Security and HR teams to ensure seamless integration of IAM processes and policies while ensuring compliance with security standards, regulations, and internal policies related to identity management and access controls. You're involved in continuous engagement with other product teams and stakeholders to understand their needs and context. You also work with suppliers and partners to support the success of the Product Team and collaborate closely with a dynamic team to create innovative technical solutions that meet and exceed our business needs.
Your responsibility also includes:
Developing and anchoring a technology roadmap for our products, aligned with the technology direction for our product area.
Conducting a thorough assessment of the current IAM environment and identifying gaps, risks, and areas for improvement.
Designing and overseeing the implementation of IAM solutions, including user provisioning, de-provisioning, authentication, authorization, and role-based access control (RBAC).
Designing and overseeing the implementation of PAM solutions.
Developing and enforcing IAM policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with industry best practices.
The location for this position is Sandviken or Stockholm and we apply a hybrid work set-up, allowing you to combine office and remote work.
Your profile
We're looking for a skilled architect, preferably with experience from a large global organization. You have experience as an IAM Architect or a similar role, particularly with Privileged Access Management solutions. You possess in-depth knowledge of IAM technologies, tools, and best practices, including identity lifecycle management, RBAC, ABAC, governance, privileged access, and federation. Proficiency with LDAP, Active Directory (AD), Entra ID, and other directory services used to manage user information and authentication is essential. Additionally, you have experience with IAM systems such as Opentext and in hybrid environments, along with an understanding of IAM as a framework and an identity information integration platform. Your knowledge is backed by a relevant degree in IT, or equivalent knowledge gained from a working career. Acting in a truly global environment calls for profound communication skills in English. Knowledge in Swedish is a plus.
Your personality truly makes the difference. With your exceptional communication skills, you can easily explain your agenda in a way that makes sense to all. Your ability to grasp the bigger picture enables you to spot vital details. You thrive in an ever-changing environment and can switch tasks at a moment's notice. With your drive to always learn new things, you have great opportunities to grow within this field. At the end of the day, you're a true team player who believes that the best outcome emerges from great collaboration and sharing best practices.
