What you'll do
As a Solution Architect, you will be one of the technical leads for Volvo Car's future architecture within the Accounting, Tax & Statutory reporting cluster, ensuring that both software and hardware structures are efficiently managed with a focus on the creation of the next generation of finance software configuration. Part of your role will be the definition of the underlying data model, creating complete solutions within the finance area together with other architects, realizing business requirements in IT solutions, and the definition of a technical roadmap.
Your responsibilities will include:
Driving architecture within the product cluster;
Ensuring realization of solutions in accordance with operational requirements;
Creating a stable solution architecture that realizes the system's functional requirements and quality attributes;
Ensuring that architectural principles are followed;
Ensuring that technical solutions are supporting the roadmap for each product team;
Driving and establishing a future-proof architecture based on our architecture principles.
Being a subject matter expert within the Finance area;
Who You are
You will carry a university degree in business administration, data science, engineering, or similar.
You will have a minimum of 8 - 10 years of experience in SAP Finance with exposure to designing, configuring, and implementing solutions in SAP. It is also required to have a strong understanding and working knowledge of finance in OEM 's.
You carry strong business acumen with good analytical skills as well as a very strong competence in operational development and IT security.
You are strong in areas of structure, integrity, drive for results, teamwork, and communication. You should be fluent in English.
The personal qualities you will carry are the ability to work well cross-functionally and to deliver on commitments. You have a profound interest in how IT applications support the business. You are proactive and have a positive attitude and willingness to share knowledge. You have high integrity and professionalism.
