About the role
As a Solution Architect at Shift, you'll be at the center of our client engagements. You'll work closely with client leadership as well as our internal teams to turn complex challenges into scalable, future-proof solutions.
This is a role for someone who enjoys moving between strategy and implementation, from defining direction to making sure solutions work in practice.
You won't just design systems; you'll help shape how our clients think about technology and its role in their future.

Your main responsibilities
• Design and develop scalable solution architectures and cloud-based systems
• Translate business and technical requirements into robust, future-proof solutions
• Work with end-to-end architecture across platforms and environments
• Contribute to software architecture, cloud, cybersecurity, and data platforms
• Create architecture documentation, diagrams, and technical roadmaps
• Perform architecture reviews and ensure alignment with best practices
• Guide clients from strategy through to implementation
Experience we'd like you to have
• A degree in business, technology, or a related field
• Experience from consulting, product development, or solution architecture
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Experience with CI/CD and DevSecOps practices
• Strong understanding of modern cloud and software architecture
• AWS or Azure Solutions Architect certification is a plus
