What you will be a part of
Surveillance provides efficient solutions for safety and security, for surveillance and decision support, and for threat detection and protection. The portfolio covers airborne, ground-based and naval radar, electronic warfare, combat systems and C4I solutions, and traffic management systems.
The business unit Surface Radar Solutions is responsible for ground-based and naval radar systems. We are 430 employees, of whom 250 are in Gothenburg and the rest is placed in our sites in Syracuse, USA, and in Halden, Norway.
You will be part of the Signal and Data Processing section responsible for systems and software development at Surface Radar Solutions.
Your role
This is a great opportunity to be involved and shape the future of test and verification for our next generation surveillance radar and to build knowledge at the leading edge of test methodology and test automation. The unit has cutting edge competence within the area and has internal goals of continuously strive to improve on methodology and tools to develop products with the highest quality.
In this position you will belong to an agile cross functional team which covers data analytics, development of new tracking and classification algorithms, SW development, test and verification. The team is responsible for taking ideas from start to finish and deploying in our testing facilities.

Your skills and experience
For this position you have a relevant background and a genuine interest of software testing and/or development.
A successful candidate will have a strong interest and some experience in some of these areas:
Test automation
Exploatory testing, Requirement based testing
Fitnessse, Java profiling, Git, Linux
Continuous Integration
Communication skills: Reports in written text, presentations
You are confident in presenting and communicating the result of your work. You like to work in teams and solving problems together on a grander scale. You see handling of new problems as a natural part of the job and you choose simple and effective solutions.

The position entails working with classified information. Therefore, you are required to participate in and pass a security test conducted by authority.
