hela Sverige We are looking for a Software Test Engineer/SQA Engineer (Software Quality Assurance Engineer) within the Life Sciences business. As a Software Test Engineer at GE Healthcare you will be a part of a highly skilled and talented global team that develops web-based applications for instruments to develop biological medicines.
Essential Responsibilities:
Design, execute and maintain manual and automated test cases
Setting up and maintain test environments and integrations (systems, OS, browsers updates)
Contribute to test architecture and process, both manual and automated testing
Be responsible for the quality, test analysis, and testing methodology for software products
Be the testing part in the 3 Amigos and contribute to the success of the developed feature and workflow, e.g. by manual and automated testing. This includes identifying, analyzing and improving quality challenges
Able to act in the role as Software Test Lead, i.e. being the responsible person for all test activities within a release and guide colleagues from other competence areas.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Minimum B.Sc. degree with relevant technical software focus, or comparable level of competence or equivalent knowledge or experience.
Proven experience in the software quality assurance area
Knowledge in Test automation tools like UFT, SpecFlow and Test management tools e.g. HP ALM
Fluent in Swedish and English (written and spoken)
Experience from testing applications for web, cloud and mobile devices
Desired Characteristics:
Experience from Agile development best practices including Behavior-driven development and Test-driven development, BDD and TDD
Energetic and self-motivated with the ability to quickly embrace and understand new technologies
Strong communication, problem solving and analytical skills demonstrated by the ability to assimilate new information, understand complex topics
Burning interest in improving processes, tools, environments
Interest in both software and hardware applications with experience from control software testing, from unit up to system testing.
