hela Sverige We are currently seeking a skilled Test Engineer for our client, a prominent global automotive company, to contribute to software-related testing in their aftermarket division. This position offers a good opportunity for software engineers interested in improving products used by customers worldwide.
About the Role:
As a Test Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the functionality and reliability of software related to the automotive company's aftermarket unit. Your primary responsibilities will involve conducting tests, verifying fault tracing, and maintaining the quality of diagnostic content prior to deployment.
In this role, you will be part of an Agile development process, ensuring comprehensive testing and the reliability of diagnostic content. Additionally, your responsibilities will include communicating results with team members and other stakeholders in order to determine the necessary actions. You will work with company-specific diagnostic tools, and even though your work is software-focused, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the company's vehicles.
Who we are looking for:
A Bachelor's degree, preferably a Master's degree in software-related engineering or related field
Experience in working with coding, or software testing.
Be able to communicate fluently in English. If you have some knowledge of Swedish, it's advantageous.
Its considered meritorious if you have experience working with different programming languages or/and diagnostic tools.
As a person you are:
Outgoing with strong communications skills.
Analytical with the ability to process complex information.
A great emphasis will be put on personal suitability.
