The Driver Interaction & Infotainment department is part of the Vehicle Software & Electronics unit within R&D. The department is responsible for electrical systems and components in the areas of Driver Information (Instrument Cluster, Center Stack Display, Head Up Display), HMI/Interaction Engineering, Infotainment (Head unit, Audio, Navigation, Entertainment), Antennas and Connectivity (TEM, VCM, Cloud Interface, Telematics, Bluetooth, Telephony).
The section Driver Interaction and Infotainment Analysis & Verification (A&V), consists of four groups, Vehicle Infotainment A&V, Infotainment Connectivity A&V, Interaction A&V and Navi & Entertainment A&V. The section leads and is responsible for analysis and verification within these areas from program start to launch.
The group Infotainment Connectivity A&V consists of 5 teams; Connected Services & Apps, Connectivity, Telephony, Telematics and Organizational Development (OD). The organizational development team works as a standalone team who supports the whole section with tools for automation.
Currently we are changing the way of working into a more agile way of working. The department is reorganizing into SCRUM teams. We also have a high focus on test automation.
We are currently looking for several Software Test Engineers to work in the different teams within the Infotainment Connectivity A&V group.
Main responsibilities
* Create and maintain test methods, conduct testing and writing test reports within one of the functionality areas of the group
* Set up a verification plan based upon the test strategy provided by System verification leader, SVL and upon system and functional content and SW releases
* Plan for, and carry out, joined test sessions with suppliers
* Review requirements from development teams and supplier documentation
* Perform deep analysis when needed
* Follow-up system verification status including risks and need for actions and action plans
* Follow-up analysis and verification conducted by supplier
Required qualifications
* BSc degree in computer science, electrical/electronic, data, physics or equivalent
* Documented knowledge/experience in at least one of the following areas: Bluetooth communication & protocols, TCP/IP & WiFi, automation testing, telematics
* Ability to travel, usually expeditions are executed in EU and USA
Meritorious
* Experience from working with test / sniffer tools for wireless communication (Frontline Protocol Analyzer SW, Wireshark, Rohde & Schwarz CMW or similar)
* Knowledge of common vehicle networks (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, MOST, Ethernet)
* Experience from working with CANoe/CANalyzer
* Programming experience / knowledge
* Experience of software test automation
* Previously worked in an agile environment (SCRUM)
* Driver's license B, valid in Sweden (driver's license is required to be able to participate on expeditions and conduct in-vehicle testing)
* ISTQB certification

* Big interest for test automation and quality assurance
* Ability to work independently as well as in teams
* Structured and analytical approach in solving development tasks
