Software System Package Owner

The section Vehicle Propulsive Controls & Calibration, within the department Powertrain Controls & Calibration, works very close to the end customers and is responsible for development of control algorithms and calibration related to the engine, transmission and hybrid system regarding propulsive attributes and torque coordination. The group Propulsive Strategy & Concept currently consists of 15 people responsible for system design and requirement handling for the sections' software components.

Our in-house software is divided in SSP:s (Software System Packages), and we are now looking for a Software System Package Owner (SSPO) for a new SSP within the field of energy consumption prediction and vehicle energy coordination, including optimal discharge strategies for plug in hybrids. In this role, you will work with a team of developers, where you will prioritise the work and be responsible for maintaining the content and quality of the SSP over time and towards all project. You will also participate in the system design together with system designers from different areas of product development.

Main responsibilities

* To maintain the functional growth and quality of the SSP
* To maintain SSP related information (requirements, design)
* To provide projects with SSP solutions by managing SSP change requests (negotiating/accepting/prioritising/refining) and support transforming them into development tasks

Required qualifications

* Good knowledge of system design and requirement handling in general
* Experience from software/function development
* University degree in engineering (Bachelor, Master or PhD)
* 3-5 years working experience within relevant field
* Fluent in English (spoken and written)
* Driver license (level B)

* Ability to put end customer in focus
* Structured with good ability to plan daily and future work effectively
* Ability to work independent but also enjoy being a part of a development team
* Good communication skills
