ABB Robotics develops, manufactures and markets robots and associated control systems, software, arc welding products, tracks and motor packages. A clear focus on automated solutions helps manufacturers improve productivity, product quality and safety in the work environment through automation. The robots are sold via local ABB companies, as well as via independent systems integrators and OEM companies.
ABB Robotics is recognized for its software development infrastructure and state of the art products in the field of automation.
For us, quality and customer experience are key, and we are now looking to strengthen our software system & test department with skilled software developers with a passion for problem solving. The product is RobotWare - our OS running on each and every robot controller leaving our factories.
Your responsibilities
• Typically, your time will be divided between hands-on software development, testing in our robot labs, fun discussions and coding in your vibrant and supportive agile team. You will also be an important part in finalizing our continuous deployment strategy.
• We use C# for test code development and our development and test tools are heavily integrated and allow for testing on everything from virtual robot controllers with physics engines to fully equipped robot systems in our labs.

Your background
• To succeed in this role, you should have a master's degree within robotics, software engineering, computer science or similar. Extensive documented experience within the discipline can also be relevant as an option.
• English language skills are mandatory and Swedish highly preferable - both written and spoken alike.
• On a personal level, you are organized, result oriented and self-motivated.
• However - most importantly, we believe in having fun at work and as a team player we hope you have great social skills and an easy-going attitude.
