We currently have the following job opening;
Software System Engineer - Brake System
As a system owner, you will be responsible for system, within the Brake Controls team, and the system is realized in a SWRS to a suppler. The system owner is also responsible for one or more sub systems. Sub systems receives requirements from different functions and the sub system owner designs the sub system and secures that the function requirements are realized through the SWRS.
Responsibilities and tasks
• Responsible for the software requirements in the SWRS (Software Requirement Specification) Application.
o Create software requirements based on the function owners input, the FRx.
o Create software requirements based on input from other nodes/ sub systems.
o Document requirements including changes in a system design tool.
• Deliver the requirements to supplier.
• Support technical discussions with stakeholders at CEVT and with supplier.
o Discuss with and explain the requirements to the supplier.
• Software issues
o Solve, help to solve, analyze issues and manage software issues related to the SW system design.
• Perform related system safety work.
• Responsible for the Technical Safety Concept.
Profile and Background
• Minimum M.Sc. in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Documented experience from working with Automotive Product Development for minimum 5 years.
• Good knowledge of the ISO26262 automotive safety standard.
• Experience in System design and software development for embedded real-time systems.
• Knowledge in electrical platform in vehicles.
• Fluent in English, both speaking and written.
• Swedish driver license, minimum Class B.
• Project leading and planning skills are vital.
• Ability to write requirement documents in a structured and readable way.
• Well-structured personality.
• Positive attitude and interested in finding solutions together with other people/teams.
• Willing to help others and ask for help when needed.
• Have an openness and awareness of Asian, European and foreign cultures.
