What do we offer?

The Body Functions ART has responsibilities that stretches from early phases until launch of new cars, and it involves development of customer functionality, system design, verification, hardware design and software development. The technical responsibility covers system solutions in various areas, among them Vehicle access, Locking, Alarm and Exterior Light. The ART is also responsible for developing a number of different electronic control units, some of them with in-house developed SW. We make impact on the customers experience of a premium car!

We are now looking for a Software Responsible Engineer to strengthen our team. You will work in an agile scrum team using SAFE framework. The team consist of system designers, test engineers and hardware responsible engineers with a clear ambition to work cross-functional.



What you'll do

You will work with exterior light modules and coordinate all activities related to the software development and maintenance of these modules. The work includes planning and implementation of software changes cross vehicle projects.


You will, together with system designer and component task leader, establish the technical solution and synchronize the software time plan. You will act as an interface for integration of supplier and in-house software in order to secure that design prerequisites are fulfilled and developed according to the project time plan, you will be the one creating an alignment.



You will be the technical contact for all issues related to the software of the components .You will review software documentation from suppliers and manage software requirement specification and release necessary software documentation for the components. You will manage the software build environment and configuration for calibration. Last, but not least, you will participate in software development within the team



Do you fit the profile?

We see that you have a degree within Electronics, Computer, Engineering Physics or equivalent. You have knowledge of software build environments and calibration tools as well as experience in C-code programing for embedded systems.


If you have knowledge in Automotive Functional Safety Standard (ISO26262), Autostar, microcontroller resource estimations and calculations or of XCP/ETK it is beneficial. You need to be fluent in English and hold a B driving licence.


As a person, you are self-driven and reliable, you are perceived as a strong team player with ambition to deliver with high precision and quality. You always keep a structured way of working, with a good documentation capability. You also possess great communication skills, which give you the ability to successfully describe and present technical issues to stakeholders on different levels.
