What's in it for you?
The Electric Drive Controls SW at Volvo Cars is part of Propulsion Power System. We are responsible for delivering system solution and SW functionality for the Inverters in our electrified vehicles. Our vision is to deliver the best functionality in the market and continuously evolve our development platform.
You will be part of the Electric Drive Complete SW team. The agile team consist of 8 enthusiastic people with a mix of gender, ages and nationalities. What you'll do
In the role of Software responsible you will be responsible for the coordinating the SW development for the inverter control module in future and ongoing vehicle programs and work together with your colleagues in the Team. You will work together with our Inhouse SW development and be Single point of contact towards our international suppliers. You will analyze and assign tasks to the backlog and report status and progress to the Product Owner. You will be responsible for deploying the SW to factory and aftermarket. It is meritorious if you have worked with DTECS before.
Do you fit the profile?
We are looking for you who has a university degree in SW engineering, Mechatronic or have an equivalent competence. It is meritorious if you have a relevant job experience relative to SW development or have the interest to learn a new area. You also must be excellent at working and writing and presenting in English. As Volvo Cars develop cars, a Driver license B or European equivalent is a must.
On a personal level, you are social and open individual who can easily network and communicate with different stakeholders. You are a real team player but also you are comfortable working individually.
Last but not the least, we are looking for someone who shares our values. Being enthusiastic, curious, collaborative, interested in technology with high integrity and a pragmatic approach towards things goes a long way.
