They will now strengthen the team with a person towards software testing and test automatization.
About the role
As a software QA engineer, you will work with quality assurance of current and next-generation optical network products before the new functions are released to end-users. You will be part of a team with different nationalities and experience levels. The team possesses extensive system knowledge of their products. They work closely together to drive the work forward and focus on customer quality.
Your duties will be to implement and improve automized tests written in Python and Pytest during development. Here you will work in Scrum teams where development and test works in close collaboration. You will both work with development of test automatization as well as
Qualifications
To succeed in this position, we believe you have an education in Technical Physics, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science, from which you have gained experience within:
• Testing within embedded systems and system understanding
• Programming and scripting in Python
• Pytest
• Linux
• Jenkins and Git
Meritorious if you have
• Previous experience in testing telecom products, network products, or
distributed systems
• Experience of development in C or C++
