Tasks and responsibilities:

In this role as Software Product Owner, you will work directly with customers, sales and sales support to understand current and future needs, translating those needs into roadmaps and detailed features, and to justify their priority. You will work closely with Engineering as the liaison between Engineering and Product Management, Sales and Sales Support. As a prior Software Engineer, you will also have a deep understanding of software engineering practices, including agile and a passion for technology. You will have knowledge and views on emerging technologies such as Big Data, IoT and Machine Learning. You also have current or previous experience developing and launching SaaS based solutions. In this role you will travel extensively throughout the world in the fulfilment of these tasks. You also have an opportunity in the role of having personnel responsibilities.
Education, Experience and Personal characteristics:
Education, experience, and personal qualities
• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering. An MBA is preferred.
• Several years of experience as a Product Owner / Product Manager
• At least 3 years of hands on software development.
• Strong knowledge of Agile / Lean development methodology.
• Experience working with global organizations and customer (meritorious).
• Knowledge of SaaS based business models and pricing strategies.
• Fluent in English, speaking and writing.

You understand and appreciate the challenges of working in a fast-moving environment. To succeed in this role, you must be humble and view feedback as a key to improving results, both for you personally as well as on a company level.
