hela Sverige Rosemount Tank Radar is looking for a passionate Software Product Manager to help with the creation of the best configuration software for radar level transmitters used in the process industry. The Software Product Manager will be responsible for managing and owning assigned software products within the Process Radar product group. To be successful in this role you like to work in a fast growing, international business environment and have a strong technical interest.
Within business unit Process Radar, our level measurement products are based on a complex system including microwave technology, electronics, mechanics, embedded software, radar and configuration software. Our product portfolio includes guided wave radar, non-contacting radar, configuration software and complete point solutions.
Responsibilities
As a Software Product Manager, you will:
• Assist in new product development incorporating the voice of the customer into new product development process, and engaging with design engineering and other functional teams to assure customer needs are met
• Assist in portfolio and roadmap management for Configuration Software Products
• Coordinating product roadmap with other product companies within Emerson ensuring consistency and interoperability
• Create use cases, user stories, and detailed product requirements documents that clearly articulate desired product functionality
• Defining project charters and leading pre-work to establish project charters
• Review of engineering defined use-case/features/mockups
• Participation in Scrum Planning and Scrum Reviews (including Demo) - check acceptance
• Participation in Change Control Board meetings
• Product Acceptance testing (at integration baselines)
Success in this role requires a Bachelor degree in Computer Science or similar. You have minimum 2 years relevant experience in software development or software product management as well as documented Agile/Scrum methodology experience. You have passion for and ability to understand customer needs and deliver solutions with a great user experience.
It 's preferred if you have Human Centered Design (HCD) and Fieldbus technologies/usage experience and can lead and work in cross functional teams.
