Our Exciting Opportunity
Radio Software strives to be the most driven Radio Network R&D unit in the industry. We work in an agile set up to develop and maintain high-quality Radio products which give our customers solutions securing future growth. We develop 5G, LTE, WCDMA, GSM, CDMA Network solutions to operators all over the world.
The Radio Software Sweden 1 (SE1) is a unit with PDU Radio with the responsibility to bring next-generation radio platforms to the market. We are based in Stockholm (Kista) with operations also in Croatia. We are now looking for a Software OPO (Operative Product Owner) to be part of our leadership team in SE1 to lead a software team with responsibility for the low-level software in new radio platforms.
We emphasize teamwork, communication, and co-operation, and look for a teammate with excellent communication skill that can contribute to the teams' successes.
You will
* Be a part of the global Radio SW OPO function which is the owner of the Radio SW backlog
* Be responsible to make sure that the backlog for your team is always up to date and prioritized
* Cooperate with Strategic Product Management, HW design, and Project Management and SW teams and OPOs globally on different sites
* Describe the value to be delivered to the team and work together to refine the backlog into actionable stories with a clear definition of what should be done
* Be expected to step forward - taking responsibility and actively driving solutions to issues as well as taking part in all aspects of the OPO role
* Report to the Section Manager Radio SW
To be successful in the role you must have
* Education: B.Sc. or M. Sc. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar
* 5 years demonstrated ability in product development with a good understanding of systemization, design and verification
* Willingness to communicate, share information and help others
* Leadership skills in line with Ericsson core values
* Interest and a good understanding of the concepts of Lean and Agile ways of working
* Appreciation for collaboration, a genuine interest in people and a good communication skill
* Ability to work across organizational boundaries
* A large degree of flexibility and willingness to tackle different tasks
* Business focus with high accountability to deliver results
