We are now looking for a manager to strengthen one of our software teams. As a Software Manager, you will both work as a team manager and as a developer. You will be part of a team of managers that together work on making Tobii a great place to work for developers. You will also be part of a scrum team contributing as a developer, changing the way people interact with computers.
The role and responsibilities
60% Development
We work with many technologies - you know and love .NET/C#
You will work in a scrum team, solving difficult problems and writing great code.
40% Team Manager
In this position, you get the chance to lead around 6-8 developers, both juniors and rock stars with +15 years of experience.
Personnel matters - recruitment, retention and developing your team, proactively remove obstacles, one-on-ones etc.
Administrative work including budget review, planning and prioritizing.
Moderating the teamwork - engage in the creative process of product development, moderating the ideas and divide the work efficiently.
We believe that you
Have insight in architecture, language design, core frameworks are all meriting
Have experience of an agile environment where many teams work in parallel
Have good English skills, we speak English on daily basis.
You probably have a solid developer background and have either had a team manager role before or been the informal leader and now want to take it to the next level. You have a strong interest in technology and like to get involved in technical discussions and you can understand how everyone and everything works together. You have a passion for creating an energetic fun environment where developers thrive and can achieve their full potential.
