What is next to come? Only we know.To our next step of growth we are looking for a Software Manager and a team member to our R&D department in Stockholm. If you are a supportive and committed software developer that would do anything to make your team members thrive - this might be just for you!The role and responsibilitiesAs a Software Manager you will work in one of our development programs, changing the way people interact with computers. You will also lead and support 8-10 talented and open hearted software engineers, primarily focused on bringing eye tracking and related features and experiences into games and E-SPORT.This way you're both up to date technically and get to spend time supporting your peer pioneers and teams to perform at their very best.As a part of a management team that collaborate on making Tobii the absolute best place to work this role will also provide you with valuable insights and experience regarding group development.Your role will be matched with your specific competence and personality but typically you will be working with software development or lead a development project together with a gaming studio. It's really up to you! You will work with: Developing our core technologyRecruitment, retention and developing your team, proactively remove obstacles to make your team thriveEngage in the creative process of product development, enhance cross team collaboration and creating a creative environment where ideas can be realizedYour background and profileWith a developer background you have had some leadership experience, either in a formal role or in an informal one where you want to take it to the next level. Your passion for gaming and for creating an energetic fun environment where developers thrive and can achieve their full potential is your corner stone. You know and love development in C# and/or C++ and have insight in great software architecture.You have experience of an leader position in an agile environment where many teams work in parallel.You have a relevant academic degree.You are fluent in English since we speak English on daily basis.You probably have experience from game development.This is all about teamwork and as a manager, you are truly a team member!At Tobii we want you to be yourself and we welcome applicants from all walks of life.
