What is next to come? Only we know.We are now looking for an R&D Manager to join our platform software team. In this role, you will work both as a manager and as a software/firmware developer.The role and responsibilitiesYou will be a member of a team of managers with the objective to lead and develop a group of developers to be able to create next generation of eye tracking products. As a manager, you will:Be involved in leading the organization of the firmware development.Lead 5-8 highly skilled software/firmware developers at a personal levelBe responsible for recruitment, personal development, one-on-ones, everything that make your employees thrive, etc.Engage in the creative process of product development, make sure we have an innovative environment and are structured such that ideas can be realized.In your developer role, you will be an important part of the core technology team responsible for the development of eye tracking products. As a developer, you could for example:Profile and implement eye tracking algorithms on target platforms.Evaluate and optimize code to meet timing and memory requirements.Implementation and design of control software for image sensors.Working with RTOS on target systems.Cross platform (Windows, Linux, MacOS) enabling of software drivers.We are looking for someone who Had a team manager role before or have been the informal leader and now want to take it to the next level.Has a passion for creating an energetic fun environment where developers thrive and can achieve their full potential.Has a solid developer background.Has a M.Sc. in electrical engineering, computer science or similar.We see it as a great plus if you have worked with software development for embedded systems and have very good programming skills in C/C++.To be successful in this role you are a team player, wants to develop yourself and the group, enjoy coding and you always ensure that your code is of high quality.
