hela Sverige Extenda's products are used in 35 countries and we intend to continue expanding into new markets. When entering into a new market, country specific services and configuration are packaged into what is referred to as a Country Module. As a Software Localisation Specialist you will be responsible for both gathering and processing legal and fiscal requirements about the new market as well as monitor changing legislation in the countries already delivered. To do this you will work closely with international advisors.
As a person you need to have the mind to interpret and translate these legal requirements into technical requirements. You need to understand the intention behind regulations and directives and reach down to the fine print since the "the devil in the details".
We are currently revising and improving our ways of working when it comes to identifying and managing these legal requirements. Your first challenge will therefore be to define a strategy on how we optimize the information gathering process by using various partners and sources of information and improve on the how we track the link between legal and technical requirements.
The role is cross-disciplinary and requires technical requirements writing and legal language fluence and interpretation.
Responsibilities
• Process owner for the management of legal requirements
• Monitor, plan and act on changing legislation
• Thoroughly research, interpret and translate laws and official guidelines.
• Produce requirements specifications for development teams
• Produce customer facing material that describe the applicable laws and how they have been implemented in the products
• Become subject matter specialist on our country module products
• Maintain and develop our partnerships and contacts with regulatory bodies.
To succeed in this role, we think that you enjoy working in project form and managing yourself. We think that you have good experience in business analysis, maybe from past experiences working as a management consultant in the IT business or fintech world with proven track-record.
We think that you are a quick learner with great communication skills and good at building relationships. We hope that you are a rational and well-organized and that you have the ability to produce customer facing material that describe the applicable laws and how they have been implemented in the products.
One of the main purposes of this position is to build an improved way of working when it comes to identifying and managing these legal requirements; therefore we hope that you have experience from a similar position with a 3-5 year track-record of processing information about legal changes and produce requirements specifications for development teams, preferably from IT or software industries.
• Great understanding of and ability to identify, research, examine, interpret and translate laws, official guidelines, precedents and existing working -practices
• Self-starter who is proactive and driven
• Experience from working as technical project manager, technical management consultant or other positions with similar tasks of legal compliance.
• Experience from working with product roadmaps
• You probably have an exam like MBA or MSc in Economics, Engineering or Law.
