In a fast-paced world accelerating towards electrification, would you like to play an important role in our software release pipeline, delivering new features to our customers? Would you like to contribute to Volvo's mission to create world leading electric propulsion technology? Here is an opportunity to join us as Software Leader in 'Electromobility - Electric Propulsion System'.
We can offer you an exciting role, where you will cooperate with product owners, component owners, brand managers, Group IT and many more stakeholders to deliver software over different nodes spread over a wide range of Volvo products. Not only will you gain detailed knowledge about our fully in-house developed software functions, component software etc. but also understand how they contribute to helping our customers fulfill their transport missions.

Role description & Responsibility
Manage product configurations on software, meeting the unique requirements for a diverse product line
Create and maintain information management and distribution framework towards software releases
Leading the integration and verification processes with product owners for in-house software development and bridging with component owners for supplier developed software
Create and maintain the software delivery plan through continuous communication with our stakeholders
Drive improvements for CI/CD framework motivated by new standards and regulations
Secure that processes and tools are harmonized and handle delivery on time with good quality
Ensure commonality between product configurations and thereby optimize the software variants delivered
Who are you?
You have a strong can-do attitude, a learning mindset and ability to drive tasks to completion.
At least 8+ years of experience in automotive technology
Possess a excellent knowledge about software tools and workflow management systems - eg. version control systems
Very good understanding of Continuous Integration and software tool chains
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Aware of regulatory updates: R156, Cybersecurity etc.
Experienced at working in a global organization with cross functional interaction
Project management experience from the automotive industry
ASPICE, Agile processes (KANBAN, SCRUM), experience from agile product development using the SAFe framework
Bachelors/master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering with an Automotive background.
You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
