The Steering ART (Agile Release train), part of Vehicle Motion, is responsible for the delivery of the complete Steering systems in our vehicles that make us the leader within Driving Experience Steering

Steering is an area that undergoes fast changes to meet new requirements from autonomous driving and other functions that makes the vehicle more fun to own and drive. We are an innovative team with positive energy that enjoy working with new technologies, in collaboration with other leading companies in our area.

Now we are in the search for a dedicated colleague for the Steering ART who will work as Software Lead Engineer.

What you will do

You will be an active member in the Steering software scrum team, manage suppliers, and assure timely deliveries. You will support in the development of new function and system requirements and breaking it down to a SW Specification. Taking part in quality assurance plans, balancing of conflicting requirements will also be part of your job. You will communicate statuses, escalate and track issues when required and be transparent in documentations and communications.

Do you fit the profile?

When it comes to education, you have at least a bachelor degree in science. Preferably in Electronics, software or Mechatronics engineering.

We see that you have a practical and theoretical knowledge about product development for embedded systems and have experience from leading and delivering product development assignments.

We are a global company, so you must be fluent in English, both written and spoken. Since a big part of your daily job will be in interaction with others, we want you to have good communication and cooperation skills.

You will work in an agile environment, so we hope you enjoy this! You have the ability to plan, solve and report problems in a structured manner.

Occasional travel is required, around 2 times a year.

You have work experience from an automotive setting (and want to continue working within the industry). You have a driving license B - and preferably you love cars as much as we do!
