The section Security and Body Electronics is responsible for design, implementation and verification of system and components within Alarm, Remote, Immobilizer, Exterior Light, Visibility, Sound Signalling and Locking systems. The section is a part of Vehicle Software & Electronics within Volvo Car's Product & Quality (P&Q) division. Currently we are approximately 60 employees, organized in four groups.
The group Body Electronics SW today includes 20 persons. We are responsible for development and integration of application SW for Central Electronic Module (CEM), and Vehicle Computational Module (VCU1).
Central Electronic Module is a master ECU with many bus systems and high level of electrical interfaces, containing vital functionality such as Vehicle Mode Management, Energy Management, Exterior Light, Locking and Visibility.
Vehicle Computational Module is a multi-functional unit that contains AUTOSAR based SW components developed at Volvo Cars and by external supplier.
Required Qualifications
• B.Sc. grade within Electrical, Computer, Engineering Physics or equivalent level of education
• Programming skills i.e. in C, C++ and python
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• B driving license
Preferred Qualifications
• M.Sc.in Electrical, Computer or Engineering Physics
• Knowledge in AUTOSAR
• Knowledge in Automotive Functional Safety Standard ISO26262
• Experience of developing software and build environments
• Knowledge in Volvo Product Development System (VPDS)
• Experience from Body & Security or Power Train area
• Experience from software design for automotive
• Agile development processes
• Other language skills
