The Role
We are looking for Software Architects who wants to join us in establishing our new global footprint and our journey towards changing how intelligent software in the car will interact with its users. In this role you will be involved in design and architecture and in defining and ensuring best implementations of new features to the architecture related to Android based Infotainment.
What you will be doing
• Understanding the end-to-end software architecture and its capabilities and limitation
• Maintain and resolve architectural needs from system and solution perspective
• Continuously enhance and refine the architecture in each product-cycle
• Together with the development team define and prioritize development activities and interface to product design teams and customers.
• Define and refine specs and requirements and challenge the customers want and see on the architecture long-term
• Have close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders in a global environment
• Drive the technical discussions and continuously guide and coach development teams and stakeholders in technical decisions and understanding
• Drive the architectural hub and develop coding standard together with performing code reviews
Who we think you are
• Extensive full-stack knowledge of the Android system architecture
• Experience in System architecture design
• Experience of vehicle communication networks
• Experience with automotive requirements governance
• Experience with software development QA process, and the common QA toolchain.
• Ability to coach and mentor the people around you
• BS degree in Software, Computer, or Electrical engineering
Additional helpful skills
• App development for mobile platforms, system integration and hardware configuration, testing frameworks for apps
• System architecture design
• Automotive and in-vehicle infotainment experience
• Background in working with software development in SCRUM teams according to SCRUM foundations and way of working
• Background in working with the Atlassian suite, including JIRA and Confluence
• Background in working with Android AOSP and Automotive HAL
• Experience in working with Linux Kernel and BSP development
• Experience with software development and testing in a CI/CD and automation environment
