FEV Sweden has two offices located in Gothenburg and Trollhättan and we serve our local customers within the Swedish automotive sector with qualified engineers and our transmission development divison is part of FEV's global transmission unit and performscomplex in-house projects for our global customers. On global level the company offers a complete range of engineering services, providing support to customers in the design, analysis, prototyping, powertrain and transmission development, as well as vehicle integration, calibration and homologation for advanced internal combustion gasoline-, diesel-, and alternative-fuelled powertrains. FEV Sweden is now looking for new employees with experience of Automotive Software Development. You will mainly work with research and development on-site for our local customers in the Gothenburg area. Additionally, since FEV is a company with global presence, having most major OEM's as customers, there is also a possibility to work internationally.
You will be working with software- and function development and software releases within the any of following areas: engine/transmission, active safety, electronic, hybrid or infotainment/telematics.
MUST HAVE SKILLES AND EXPERTISE
• Master of Science or equivalent degree, e.g. in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, engineering physics or mechatronics.
• Documented knowledge of powertrains, model-based development, control and optimization.
• A few years of work experience within automotive software development for embedded systems.
• Fluent in English.
• Driver license.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERTISE
• Experience with one or several of the following software: INCA, Canalyzer, Matlab/Simulink, Target-Link.
• Experience with one or several of the following programming languages: C, C#, C++, Java, Python, Modelica.
• Experience of software testing, measurement and calibration, e.g. in MIL, SIL, HIL, test rigs, in vehicle.
• Familiarity with ISO26262, the Autosar standard, the CAN/Flexray communication protocols, the Scrum software development process.
• Good team player, initiative taker and good social skills.
• Good knowledge of the automotive industry and burning interest for engines.
• Good knowledge in Swedish.
• Any knowledge of German is beneficial.
