We are now looking for more talented people to join Husqvarna Construction's team of skilled software and electronics engineers, at a nice workplace close to nature in Jonsered just outside Gothenburg. How about a technical challenging and varied job with responsibility to develop software for several different products, while also having fun?
Husqvarna Construction is probably best known as a world leader in machinery and diamond tools for the construction and stone industries. At their core they develop drive systems which includes power electronics and hard real time software. They also do software for machine behavior, diagnostics, connectivity and user interfaces. The department Electronics and Software is responsible for all electronics and software within Husqvarna Construction and together with your team you will contribute to even better products. What do we need?
We are looking for Software Engineers with solid technical understanding within embedded systems who are enthusiastic about programming. The department Electronics and Software always have several different projects ongoing which cover the entire product life cycle, i.e., concepts, new construction and improvements development. This means you will have the opportunity to be involved in projects that interest and challenges you.
Your tasks include:
• New function development.
• Develop improvements to our current products.
• Working together with both software- and electronics engineers in both embedded and cloud domains to define, implement, integrate and debug embedded software.
• C/C++ programming
Who are you?
To really enjoy the role, it is important that you are a team player who likes to take responsibility, are non-prestigious, likes dynamic and technically challenging projects and can see the big picture. You are creative, take initiatives and like problem solving.
We believe that you have a Bachelor or Master 's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Physics, or equivalent area. We see that you have some years of experience as a software developer and are fluent written and spoken in English, hopefully Swedish and of course in C/C++ programming language. You are not afraid to roll up your sleeves to assist with your expertise, neither are you uncomfortable to ask for support when needed.
