As a Software Engineer, you will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle and you will be working together in a team in a global and agile environment. You will develop and maintain our java based internal application that is used to configure Bombardier's signalling products. Our teams with around 30 developers are present in Stockholm, Hässleholm and Bangkok. Currently we are engaged in an exciting journey of bringing our application to the cloud. If you are seeking for challenges and want to develop yourself, join one of our diverse teams.
Your responsibilities will include :
• Software Development including analysis, design, and programming.
• Software implementation mainly using Java.
• Analysis and estimates of new features.
• Support and maintenance of existing features.
• Offering input and support for functional testing.
• Technical knowledge, innovation and leadership.
• Technical support and documentation.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or any other relevant specialization.
• Proven experience in Software Development.
• Strong experience with Java and OOP.
• Knowledge of Agile methodology.
• Preferred experience in:
o Git version control software.
o Gerrit code collaboration tool.
o Jenkins CI software.
o Javascript, CSS & HTML.
o C/C++.
o Eclipse IDE.
• Excellent team player and a good communicator.
• Swedish and English at a fluent level are mandatory for this role.
