About the role
As a Software Engineer you will work in the "BT Robotic Process Automation Finance" team. The team is the first focusing on RPA/automation within the H&M Group. We have started this journey during 2020 piloting a first robot running unattended in order to automate a first business process. We see a huge potential in the automation area and now we want to continue this journey, build the first team and continue with implementation of many more automations. The team will drive and own the development and maintenance of future automations. The team will closely collaborate around the process work together with our business functions and will also take an active role in initiating work, processes and support to establish automation in the best possible way within the company long-term. We also need to find and setup the needed collaborations throughout the company and the Business Tech function as well as with our partners.

You will have a decisive impact on how we shape the automation future in the best possibly way. We are taking our solutions seriously and have end-to-end ownership of the product (full lifecycle from ideation to optimization) with ultimate accountability for business and customer value delivered.
Responsibilities
You will be one of the first team members in this new team and will be one of the main driving forces when continuing to build it. As automation engineer, you will be working on the architectural setup long-term as well as striving to write automation code that has high quality and that will be time efficient to maintain.
Some of your daily work includes:
Take part in establishing the first automation team within the area together with different stakeholders and partners.
Drive the technical long-term setup for automation.
Development of automation processes.
Work with maintenance and support of the automation solutions.
Verify/test development done by other developers.
Write/update documentation, when required.
Collaborate with other Business Tech teams to optimize the automation setup.
Work with business functions to understand the needs that the team will strive towards.
Who are you?
As a Software Engineer at H&M Group we believe you are driven, structured and have a large interest and experience in working with automation in large companies. You have good communication skills and a great understanding of tech as well as business needs. A good sense of troubleshooting in an independent way will be necessary to be successful in this role. It is also advantageous if you have worked in an agile and scrum-based way of working before. To do this we believe you have:
5-9 years of experience working with, setting up and developing RPA/automation
Experience working with UIPath or other similar automation tools
Experience in automation in an SAP landscape
Experience in infrastructure work for automation, for example driving the setup and maintaining the automation backbone in an Azure environment.
Experience in working with security related to automation
Some experience in driving business process work in relation to automation
