In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:
Be a part of a large transformation where the bank is moving to a modern software development model, the Cloud & Enabling Platforms department is in many ways driving this change
Be engaged on all aspect of the software development, from decision making and design down to delivery and operation
Work alongside our great engineers on our Microservices development platform in Cloud & Enabling Platforms department
Engage in working on our CI/CD pipelines, heart of our automation platform, an ecosystem of Jenkins libraries and stages
Learn and explore through conferences and training courses as well as pair and mob design and coding sessions
Take pride in your work enabling millions of bank customers in using modern digital banking
What is needed in this role:
Being a great team player, with an aptitude in learning, exploring and collaborating with your team and wider organization as whole
Comfortable in Java and the associated ecosystem (Spring Boot, Junit, Gradle, etc.)
Being Familiar with common development infrastructure and tools like git, Linux, JIRA, etc.
Being familiar with, or having experience in developing performance test and automation would be an advantage for you
Having a basic understanding or higher level of experience with container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes in this case) is a plus
Being familiar with and care about common engineering practices like continuous delivery, automated testing and code review.
Communicating with ease in written and spoken English
Relevant university degree or a great reason for not having one...
