You will spend your days in a cross functional product team called Workforce Planning & Scheduling working with Engineers and support teams while aligning with Business partners and stakeholders globally. The mission of the team is to optimize the utilization and efficiency of the workforce within the H&M group by combining forecasting and scheduling algorithms with an intuitive and modern interface for our colleagues in stores and offices around the globe.
Job Description
Do you love technology as much as you love business? Do you speak English, C# and SQL? We are building the next generation workforce planning on the cloud and need more hands and brains. If you are a team player who loves to solve problems, share your knowledge, believe in DevOps and continuous learning then you're the one we are looking for.
In this job you will transform large amounts of data into insights and practical tools, making real impact for the company. You will apply different technologies ranging from CDM and BI tools to SQL databases and integrations running on the Azure platform to help business experts better understand and leverage the potential of over 150 000 people working at the H&M group.
As a Software Engineer at H&M Group you will embark on a journey that will lead to something new and exciting - we will test, fail and learn. You are an important player in this transformation, and so we believe you are communicative, flexible, stress-resistant and able to work in an environment that is not yet formalized. You have previous experience from working in large companies with many stakeholders, you have worked with distributed teams, with integration platforms and you know how to translate business requirements and visualize technical roadmaps.
Qualifications
It is essential that you are eager to learn new things. Besides that, you should have been working for a couple of years with software development, particularly with programming (C# or similar) and ETL. You need to be proficient in T-SQL and stored procedures. You must have strong written and spoken communication skills in English.
It is a plus if you have been working with:
Azure DevOps
Azure Integration Development
Azure SQL
Board CDM
Cognos
BI / workforce analytics
