Job Description:
We are seeking talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our VAR team of the merchandising component area located in the Product Engineering organization in our Center of Excellence.
As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our organization and clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, develop efficient code, perform rigorous testing, test your product in our Store lab and deliver a robust software product. The ideal candidate has a strong background in software development, a passion for technology, and a drive for continuous learning and improvement.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement software solutions that align with project goals and meet quality standards.
Develop, test, and maintain high-quality of software solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse requirements and design solutions
Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and shared knowledge.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering team
Assist in mentoring junior engineers by providing guidance and feedback
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
At least 3+ years of software engineering experience
Strong working proficiency in Java.
Experience of working in OTMM (Open Text Media Manager) or similar systems
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
Good problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
