We are seeking a Software Engineer to be based at our headquarters in central Stockholm.
In your role as a Senior Software Engineer you will primarily develop Linux device drivers on our embedded x86 server platform, where the hw/sw interfaces are defined in co-operation with our FPGA developers. You will also develop TCP and UDP kernel extensions for our hw-accelerated networking stack. Another key task is to optimize the Linux file system interface to our 24TB NAND flash storage subsystem and our embedded Linux platform. Your assignment will also include development of tools and procedures for low-level debugging and testing of the above. You are expected to contribute to the continuous improvement of Edgeware's development methodology, regarding both design and test.
Candidate preferred skills and experience:
• Extensive experience in Linux systems and C programming
• Experience in device driver and kernel development
• Experience in debugging low-level software on embedded systems
• Master English in speech and writing
• 5 years of relevant working experience
• Experience in multi-threaded programming
• Bachelor/Master of Science in computer science and engineering
or equivalent
• A good understanding of agile software development practices
