At the moment we are looking for the right person to fill an opening as Software Engineer in our Firmware Platform department.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Firmware Platform is a department within R&D at Axis who is responsible for the development of new functionality in our software platform, in user-space Linux. We are right in the middle of the FW development working in small agile teams.
As a Software Engineer in our teams, you will be adding functionality and make architectural changes to the software platform. You will be involved in all phases of development - from innovation / first ideas and all the way through design and implementation until final release on the market.
As Axis value high quality and long-term commitment, you will have the privilege to work with good designs and take your time to make proper implementations.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a Software Engineer that has a general interest in technology, a genuine interest in SW programming and loves to solve problems both alone and in close cooperation with other colleagues.
We believe you have a Master's degree in computer science or equivalent and experience in C programming and Linux environment. It is an advantage if you have experience from Gnu tools, code analysis tools and Git. As a good communicator you will have very good skills in English, both verbal and written.

It is also important that you can contribute to a good and productive working environment. You are a curious and technically-minded person and we expect that you are proactive and take initiatives.
